Professional Fee Expenses

Reimbursement is provided for eligible USFA employees (with the exception of practicing physicians in the College of Medicine) who are required, as a condition of employment, to maintain a certification or license in order to perform their academic duties. Refer to Professional Expenses (Article 22.12.2) for details.

The claim period is open from November 1, 2024-December 1, 2024 for the reimbursement of professional fees paid during the period of December 1, 2023 to November 30, 2024.

Accountable Professional Expense Account

Your Accountable Professional Expense Funds (APEF) shall be used to help defray expenses associated with teaching, research, and related professional activities in addition to other expenses. Refer to Professional Expenses (Article 22.12.1) for details.

Tuition Waiver

You may be eligible for Tuition Waiver. Refer to Tuition Waiver (Article 22.15) for details.

 Tuition may also be covered under your APEF (see above) as a Reimbursement of Educational Costs.
